This policy describes how Clipable LLC, a Nevada limited liability company doing business as PowerKeys (“PowerKeys,” “we,” “us”), handles information across the PowerKeys desktop application, the powerkeys.net websites, and the PowerKeys cloud services (together, the “Services”). The short version. PowerKeys is an automation tool that handles sensitive input on your PC, so we keep the boundary simple: hotkey detection and macro playback run locally on your machine. We don’t log your keystrokes. The only keystrokes that reach our servers are ones you deliberately record into a macro, binding, or script and save to your account. We do not sell your personal information.
1. What we collect
Account information
When you create an account, our sign-in provider (Clerk) collects your email address, name, optional profile picture, and authentication details. We receive and store your email, name, profile picture URL, and an account identifier.
Content you create
Macros you record, keybinds and profiles you configure, scripts you write, marketplace items you publish, reviews and reports you submit, and settings you save are stored in your account so they can sync to the app. Recorded macros contain the keystrokes and mouse events you chose to record — treat recordings that include typed passwords or other secrets carefully, because they are stored as macro content.
AI Script Assistant conversations
When you use the Script Assistant, your messages, relevant script content, editor context, and tool results are sent to our servers and forwarded to our AI model providers (Google and/or Anthropic) to generate responses. Conversations are stored in your account so you can revisit them. We use commercial API tiers configured so that providers do not use your content to train their models.
Payment information
Paid plans are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). Your card details go directly to the processor; we receive limited billing information such as plan, status, and billing country, plus a customer identifier.
Technical and log data
Like most online services, our servers and error-reporting tools automatically record technical data: IP address, request metadata, app version, error and crash reports, and coarse diagnostics. The app also periodically checks a server for updates, which involves a standard web request. We use this to keep the Services working, debug problems, and prevent abuse.
Product updates email list
If you subscribe to product updates on our website, we store your email address for that purpose. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
What we do not collect
- We do not log or transmit your keystrokes or mouse activity. Hotkey detection runs locally on your PC; only macros you deliberately record and save reach your account.
- We do not collect the contents of your clipboard, files, or screen except where a script you run uses those APIs locally.
- We do not sell your personal information. There are no third-party ad trackers in the app or on the website.
2. How we use information
- Provide, sync, and secure the Services.
- Operate the marketplace, including moderation and abuse prevention.
- Generate AI assistant responses when you use that feature.
- Process payments and manage plans.
- Debug, monitor, and improve reliability using logs and error reports.
- Send transactional email (account, billing, security) and, separately, product updates you opted into.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run PowerKeys, under contracts limiting their use of it:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of PowerKeys or others, or as part of a business transfer (in which case this policy continues to apply). Content you publish to the marketplace (items, reviews, your display name) is public by design.
4. Advertising
The Free plan shows ads. Today those are house promotions for PowerKeys — no third-party ad networks, no ad tracking. Ads never touch your scripts, macros, files, clipboard, keystrokes, or automation state. If we ever add third-party advertising, we will update this policy, explain exactly what changes, and give you an opt-out (including honoring the Global Privacy Control signal) before any of it goes live.
5. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: you can view and edit your account information and content in the app and account portal.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated content by emailing [email protected] from your account email. We honor deletion and access requests from all users, wherever you live, subject to the limited retention described in Section 8.
- Email: unsubscribe links are included in every product-update email; transactional emails (billing, security) are sent as needed to operate your account.
- AI features: the Script Assistant only processes content when you use it.
Using any of these rights never affects your service.
6. California and Nevada disclosures
We do not sell personal information — not now, not previously. California and Nevada residents can use the process in Section 5 for any request, including Nevada sale opt-out requests under NRS 603A (we respond within 60 days). Our sites do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children and require users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Security and retention
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS; authentication tokens on your PC are kept in Windows secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain account data while your account is active and delete or de-identify it after account deletion, except for limited records we need for legal, security, or financial compliance and server logs and backups that age out on a schedule.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. For material changes, we will also provide notice on the website, in the app, or by email. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies to you.
